I've been playing around with the motherduck notebooks, and I really thinks the ui is incredible beautiful! I am building a larger calculation engine, and I am considering having duckdb to be the base of that engine. If I should use duckdb I would need to lean heavily in to macros. Macros need to be stored in git, and I need to be able to load and run them at will. Are there any way to load .sql files into the motherduck ui? Kind of like what you would do with .read for the cli? If not, do anyone have an idea or setup for a development workflow?
Like that everything lives in motherDuck, and IT team can easily update / add any sql snippet
Thank you
Adrien that is a VERY cool use of Dives! I bet Martin C. and others here in the MD community could get a lot of use out of that Dive. Would you be willing to share it on the Dive Gallery?
Yeah, sure, I would have to edit some of it as we use it mainly to create / update dives but i’ll do it before the end of week. How do you proceed ? Do I send you the id when it’s done ?
