Hi guys trying to leverage the new “Table-level security” new feature. To give a user only access to a certain set of tables and one dive that exposes data from those tables. Not sure of the best way to do this.. Some questions:
How do we GRANT READ ON SHARE to a user in another org, same region (eu-central-1)? Is that possible?
Is it right that you can only grant access to specific named users WITHIN your org?
And is it right that you can grant external access to a dive via a URL, but anyone that has the URL can view the dive (if their MD account is in the same cloud region)?
Today you can't grant access to shares outside of the share owner's organization - do you have any more information on your use case that might help us as we think through future improvements to data and access control in MotherDuck? There isn't a way for users outside of your organization to view a dive within the app but you can generate embedded dive links if you have a place you want to host these. It is true that anyone with the link will be able to see the dive content and access the data referenced by the dive
